Brief:
Axis-Shield commissioned Prevas to develop one of the world´s most advanced bench top analyzers for in-vitro diagnostic point-of-care testing.
Solution:
Prevas functioned as an outsourced R&D department, with responsibility for project management, instrument and cartridge development, and design transfer to manufacturing.
Benefit:
In 2006, the Afinion™ AS100 Analyzer was awarded the Medical Design Excellence award (MDEA).
