Brief:
To maintain their role as a market leader Fixturlaser needed to come up with a new concept in measurement of transmission links. To do this Fixturlaser turned to Prevas as a complete solutions provider.
Solution:
Prevas acted as an out-sourced R&D department, responsible for all electronics and low-level software design as well as implementation. The final product is an advanced and robust solution for fully automatic measurements. It uses Windows-CE and measured the shaft misalignment using lasers.
The design demands have been very high due to the intended use is in harsh environments.
Benefit:
In the last years Fixturlaser has become a major player world-wide in measuring miss-alignment of transmission links, partly this is because of their new easy to use handheld system.
