Prevas has developed components and products for control systems for over 25 years. The result is a solid pool of experience that includes, for example, the latest SIL-rated products for security-critical systems. Experience spans within development of products and practical usage of customer projects where Prevas' is a system integrator for Wonderware, ABB, Siemens and Mitsubishi, amongst others.

Prevas has the competence and comprehension needed for successful projects. Our project managers, mechanics, testing engineers, electronics engineers and software engineers can perform the work no matter whether the issue concerns an I/O card, controller or communication module. A state-of-the-art infrastructure that includes modern development tools, prototyping laboratories and a test laboratory for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is also in place. The infrastructure ensures that the product is produced at the right time and with the right level of quality.

Based on a specification, Prevas can produce a product, work through the entire product cycle and even produce and create a tailored test system for the new product. Our ISO 9001:2008-certified development model guarantees the quality of deliveries, and we can work with both agile development and traditional waterfall models with our own certified project models.

We cooperate with academia on research projects related to control systems. In addition to the solid know-how we have obtained by completing our projects, several of our colleagues have a licentiate or doctoral degree in the field.
