Solution:
A partnership agreement has been signed between Nokia and Prevas under which Prevas is responsible for the development and maintenance of all digital TV receivers for satellite, cable and terrestrial transmission.
Prevas invested in competence, infrastructure and a test laboratory and has been responsible for the maintenance of all Nokia STBs since 2002.
Benefit:
Nokia has been able to focus on development of new platforms.
