After 25 solid years on the Nordic market, Prevas is now opening new international offices. The aim is to increase sales on an international market and secure access to well-educated employees while, at the same time, reducing costs. Locally-based cooperative partners will help out with the recruitment of new employees for the new offices. The internal recruitment of managers for the offices is currently in progress. The aim is to have more than 50 employees in India and a turnover of MSEK 50 in the Middle East in three years´ time.
The office in Bangalore will initially have ten employees in order to then grow in line with the market. Under Swedish project management and methodology, a number of indigenous specialists will have the same Prevas competence as exists today, with a focus on integrated systems and industrial IT solutions.
“India has one of the world´s fastest growing economies, where IT is the sector that has so far shown the most growth. Opening a new office there is a strategic and important step for Prevas. Partly in order to meet the increased demand for competence in engineering and partly in order to be able to offer cost-effective development services," says Mats Lundberg, CEO of Prevas. In India, there is also a separate strongly expanding market for Prevas services within product development and industrial systems.
As far as the market in the Middle East is concerned, Prevas has discovered a huge amount of potential for what it has to offer within industrial systems. Prevas´ competence and competitive solutions are of interest to customers in the region, mainly in the oil and gas, steel and aluminum and manufacturing industries. Dubai is an excellent place in which to be based in order to reach the surrounding countries in the Middle East.

We can also take on minor offshore projects and thus help companies increase their competitiveness in Asia and the Middle East.
