Quality and service makes Volvo Construction Equipment choose Prevas
Volvo Construction Equipment is one of the world's largest manufacturers of construction equipment. Volvo continually develops its computer-controlled loaders and construction equipment. When the equipment is developed, the electronics must also be updated. Additionally, the testing equipment, which ensures that customers obtain a fail-safe machine, must also be further developed.
Andreas Johansson, project manager for development of LabVIEW based test rigs for electronic systems at Volvo Construction Equipment in Eskilstuna says,
"Before we started using Prevas' systems, we used equipment from National Instruments and LabVIEW together with parts that we had built ourselves. Now we have outsourced development of the construction of the new systems, including such things as measurement and control boards, to Prevas.
We also feel that Prevas pays a lot of attention to details. They never comprise - all of their designs are very thorough. They have done this before, even for other companies within the Volvo Group. They know what they're doing," he says.
