Future-safe platform for mass spectrometry

Assignment description:
Waters was struggling with outdated technology and engaged Prevas to develop a new platform for the control system for its mass spectrometers.

Solution:
Prevas designed a state-of-the-art system. The project involved delivery of ready-to-use PCBs and putting them into production. Design included electronics, firmware and integrated software. An innovate solution for remote diagnostics was also implemented. Knowledge was transferred to Waters, which made possible a shift of technology at Waters' internal R&D department.

Customer benefit:
Manufacturing costs and the costs for field service were reduced. Waters now has a future-safe platform for mass spectrometry.
