A Tailored Controller for the Future

To support this, Prevas has created a new controller that replaces an existing industrial PC used for displaying the user interface. They have also updated the IO board, resulting in a more tailored solution rather than a standard one.

The new controller is based on the i.MX8 platform, and Prevas has developed an embedded Linux solution specifically for this controller, ensuring that both the platform and its applications are up-to-date.

Security and Stability at the Core

Prevas Industrial Linux is a customized Linux board support package (BSP) featuring Secure Boot, making it a solid foundation for a cyber-secure platform for Imbox.

By utilizing Prevas Industrial Linux, a thoroughly tested design has been achieved, minimizing risk and ensuring a faster time-to-market. This approach also allows for ongoing maintenance of the entire platform through regular firmware updates.
