Plant engineering

CE marking & risk analysis

Hardening furnace Voestalpine Precision Strip AB, Munkfors
Upgrading of power, control and drive systems for hardening furnace. The upgrade included a new power, drive and control system, and produced an increase in machine safety. Furthermore, the entire operator environment was upgraded with new control stations and HMI. Prevas (formerly Koteko) has designed, programmed, installed and commissioned the entire plant.
Paper machinery, Ahlstrom-Munksjö Falun AB
Ahlstrom-Munksjö has upgraded the drive system for paper machine at its Falun site. The paper machine in Falun produces filter paper with a maximum width of 1060 mm and at a maximum speed of 50 m/min. The upgrade included a new drive and control system. Furthermore, the entire operator environment was upgraded with new control stations and HMI. Prevas (formerly Koteko) has designed, programmed and commissioned the entire plant, including installation of the modified electrical system.
Valsverk Aurubis, Pori, Finland
Aurubis, Pori Finland has upgraded the control and drive system of a cold rolling mill built by Schloemann. The upgrade included a new drive and control system and an increase in machine safety. Furthermore, the entire operator environment was upgraded with new control stations and HMI. Prevas (formerly Koteko) has designed, programmed and commissioned the entire plant after installation by Aurubis.
